Trenches, Bolt-Actions, and Magic

After being punched awake, Moline discovers that he has somehow become a prisoner of war. He first assumes he has landed in a world on the eve of a conflict much like World War I—only to realize things are far worse: shield-bearing assault troops in iron armor, diesel-and-magic-powered armored knights, and battlefield mages all march to war. Now, as an imperial soldier inexplicably allied with international brigade volunteers, his only priority is surviving the war they claim will “end all wars.”
