Chapter 14

014 Yi Feng Brand Repeater

4 min read835 words

Eleven days—an entire eleven days. Just as Su Zhirui had begun to suspect that her lord had slept himself to death, the handsome man finally opened his eyes. Though his eyes could no longer really be called eyes, after he got up and made just one round, wherever he went, peals of laughter erupted. Yi Feng frowned at Yi Lun, whose face had gone crimson from holding it in, and his eyes immediately narrowed in displeasure.

This time, Su Zhirui burst out laughing without the slightest restraint. Just as tears were about to fall from her eyes, Yi Lun finally could not hold back either and roared with laughter. He did not know who would dare pluck a tiger’s whiskers, but he had now witnessed his sister-in-law daring to draw poop on Fourth Brother’s face. Even knowing full well that his Fourth Brother would be angry enough to kill someone, that could wait until he had laughed his fill.

“Sister-in-law, only you would dare.” Seeing Yi Feng turn and go back into the room, Yi Lun immediately gave her a thumbs-up.

“Of course.” Su Zhirui raised a brow and smiled smugly, but in the next instant, she could no longer smile. A certain man strode out with a dark expression on his handsome face, and without a word, hoisted her over his shoulder and threw her onto the bed.

“Um… who told you to sleep for so many days? I was bored!” From inside came a certain woman’s terrified shrieks, but the last thing heard was undoubtedly this: “Hey, these are my newly bought clothes! If you’re going to tear them, could you give me notice first? If I’d known, I wouldn’t have worn something so expensive!”

“He’s still angry?” Seeing Su Zhirui spend several days timidly and carefully waiting on the main master, Yi Lun asked while suppressing his laughter.

“Hmph, petty.” Bored, Su Zhirui was massacring the flowers in the courtyard.

“To dare draw… on his face… in this world, I’m afraid you’re the only one.” Yi Lun helped her massacre the flowers, the smile on his face still impossible to hold back. But deep down, he was even more moved. So it turned out that there was still someone who could rein in his Fourth Brother.

“I know he’s hard to deal with.” Su Zhirui curled her lip disdainfully.

“It’s not that he’s hard to deal with… Fourth Sister-in-law, Fourth Brother’s world is one that none of us siblings has ever been able to break into. Perhaps you can.” Yi Lun’s words carried a deeper meaning, but they sent Su Zhirui into thought. Why? Just because he was willing to marry her?

There had not been much time, and she could not possibly understand at once what kind of person her lord was. Instinctively, she felt that he could give her a sense of security, but life with him was dull and flavorless. That feeling was as if he himself had grown tired of his own life and wanted to find some amusement sooner.

Was that it? Turning her head to look at the man lazily sitting in a wicker chair and reading, the provocative idea in Su Zhirui’s heart began to swell and ferment again.

“Fourth Sister-in-law, don’t do anything reckless.” Seeing the strange gleam in Su Zhirui’s eyes, Yi Lun shuddered all over. Did he need to stay far away from this married couple in order to avoid being dragged down with them?

“I want to go out for a stroll.” As if she had not heard him, Su Zhirui walked straight up to Yi Feng and took the scroll from his hand.

“Have Eleven accompany you.” Yi Feng glanced at her and replied lightly, then picked up another book beside him and began flipping through it.

“I want to plant more flowers and grasses in the courtyard.” Without changing expression, Su Zhirui continued, and took away the other book from his hand as well.

“Have Eleven accompany you.” The same answer made Yi Lun, standing to the side, even more terrified. Why did he have to be dragged into this? This woman had quite the nerve—if she wanted to die, she had to pull someone down with her.

“I want to practice calligraphy and learn the zither.” Su Zhirui spoke again, her meaning obvious: she wanted him to accompany her. Meeting her raised brow, Yi Feng snatched the book back, still giving the same monotonous answer.

“Have Eleven accompany you.”

“I want to have a child.” Though Su Zhirui was choked with anger, she still maintained her calm, because she wanted to see whether he really was a Yi Feng-brand repeater.

“…”

“Why aren’t you telling Eleven to accompany me now?” Su Zhirui asked patiently. Just as it looked as if she was about to spit fire, Yi Lun finally threw caution to the wind and stepped between the two of them. “Well, uh, Fourth Sister-in-law, come on, I’ll go shopping with you. Ruoshui has plenty of fun places.”
