Carrying bundles and bags of luggage in her arms, Su Zhirui kicked open the rather opulent-looking gate with her foot. With a creak, the gate slid apart on its own, and the first thing that entered her sight was two neat rows of old serving women and maidservants, as though they had been waiting for her arrival. “May Madam be well.” The sound startled Su Zhirui so badly that she immediately dropped the bundles in her hands. What was this? Heaven? “I definitely came through the wrong door.” As Su Zhirui said this and was about to turn around, she suddenly heard a voice from behind her. “This must be Fourth Sister-in-law?” Turning back, Su Zhirui looked at the refined young man before her, pointed at her own little face, and asked, “Are you talking to me?” “Is your surname Su?” the man asked with a smile, his eyes as brilliant as stars in the night. Su Zhirui nodded woodenly, and then saw the man, elegant and courteous, pick up her luggage for her. “Then there’s no mistake. I rank eleventh.” “May I ask exactly how many brothers and sisters my lord has?” Hearing that “eleventh,” Su Zhirui asked the man before her in disbelief. Yi Lun was stunned for a moment, then, with a faint smile, held up his fingers to gesture a number. Seeing it, Su Zhirui nearly fainted from fright. “No wonder he’s in such a hurry for me to have children. So your family is basically a pigpen.” “Uh… more or less,” Yi Lun answered with a snicker. “Then are all of you in a hurry to have children?” “None of us are in a hurry,” Yi Lun thought for a moment before replying. “Then why the heck is your fourth brother in such a hurry?” “Because you two are married.” “That’s right.” Su Zhirui nodded. “So you have to have children…” “…” This answer was really damn brilliant. “Prepare a table of good dishes for me. Your sister-in-law is hungry.” Su Zhirui lifted her chin at Yi Lun with great composure and began ordering him around without the slightest politeness. Since she was his sister-in-law, then the elder ought to be respected, right? “Of course.” Yi Lun smiled and immediately waved for the old serving women in charge of cooking in the courtyard to go prepare the meal. “Eleven, I want to ask you—are all your brothers and sisters as not-quite-right as my lord?” As she was led toward the flower hall, Su Zhirui asked in confusion. Apart from the imperial family, she had never seen a family among commoners so capable of reproducing. Family? Then was her lord actually not poor? “Sister-in-law, we’re all very normal. Only Fourth Brother… uh… is not quite right,” Yi Lun said honestly, shrugging and raising his brows, his expression wonderfully lively. “Then I might as well remarry you…” Su Zhirui suddenly declared boldly, frightening Yi Lun so badly that he instantly retreated ten zhang away from her. Not only were the corners of his mouth twitching, his whole body was trembling nonstop, as if he had seen a living ghost in broad daylight. “Have you gotten addicted to picking up men wherever you go?” Yi Feng’s voice came from behind her. Su Zhirui’s heart gave a thump, and she immediately turned back with a fawning smile. “Didn’t you go out?” “I’ll leave once you’re pregnant.” Yi Feng cast her a sidelong glance, a clear hint of danger in his eyes. Su Zhirui widened her eyes in astonishment. He had come back just to have children with her? This man’s way of thinking truly could not be viewed through a normal lens. Su Zhirui shot Yi Lun a resentful look; the other party seemed to still be struggling to hold back his laughter. Before she could finish glaring at him, both her feet once again accidentally left the ground. “Hey, no, why are you in such a rush to have children? We can do it tonight, can’t we… damn you, do clothes not cost money? All you ever do is tear them.”
