Garden of Shadows

Decades after humanity’s collapse, mankind has lost the surface. It now belongs to “them”—evolving predators that devour the essence of every living thing, from insects and beasts to humans, and turn the stolen remnants of civilization into their own garden. With only the past left to cling to, Jian braves the deadly world above to scavenge fragments of the old age and survive another day. In the twilight of the human species, those reduced to shadows write their desperate record of survival in a garden ruled by new masters.
