Dragon Lady

Carnelian is a pseudo-human "Seal"—a being who can only awaken from her eternal slumber when someone capable of moving her heart draws near. After ages of sleep inside the belly of the giant fish Peseter, she is roused by Julitan, a humble chef from the village of Kione. Hunted by Emperor Orphenbaha of the Zelbender Empire, Carnelian and Julitan flee south toward Darlaktu in a desperate bid for freedom. As danger and desire intertwine on the road, Julitan must prove he has the courage to become her one true knight.
