It was very late at night.
A dark air penetrated the conference room’s floor-to-ceiling windows. Se Heon checked the gloomy scenery outside once, checked the time once, and rose first.
“Let’s stop here for today. Everyone go home. See you tomorrow.”
From the head seat, he declared the meeting adjourned. Immediately after, without even glancing toward the foot of the door where Yoon Shin was, he exited the room.
After Se Heon disappeared, groans that had been held back poured out from here and there. They were ad hoc special-team lawyers, including a few corporate team members, pulled together by Se Heon from necessary talent across departments. They had been working day and night on the recent Youngjin Construction acquisition advisory.
Only after the team leader had completely vanished did the other lawyers rise, exhausted. Rubbing the backs of their necks, blinking their eyes, they left the space one by one.
“Good work. You worked hard.”
Yoon Shin, last in order and the junior-most on the team, remained to greet them all. Once alone, he tidied up and turned off the lights.
On his way back to his office, Yoon Shin glanced at Se Heon’s brightly lit room. Se Heon was standing, talking to someone on the phone. His rolled-up sleeves revealed the contours of his body, very sensual. Naturally recalling his firm physique, Yoon Shin felt awkward. Flustered inside, he suddenly checked his wristwatch. It was well past eleven, a late hour. He wondered who Se Heon was contacting.
‘It probably isn’t a personal call……’
Curious, Yoon Shin stretched out an arm and waved, trying to get Se Heon to notice him. But no matter how many times he gestured for him to look this way, Se Heon only turned his body sideways, engrossed in his call.
‘He didn’t give me a single glance during the entire meeting, and he’s still like this until the end.’
Sometimes, because Se Heon drew the line so strictly it felt hurtful, Yoon Shin felt he might develop something akin to an affection deficiency. In an enclosed space with just the two of them, Se Heon definitely lowered his guard. But if even a single pair of watching eyes existed, the story changed completely. He wouldn’t give Yoon Shin even the tiniest bit of attention colleagues normally showed one another; on the contrary, he acted especially strict.
Of course, someone like Kang Se Heon paying personal attention to a far junior colleague would look strange to anyone. His head understood this well. But because he wanted to receive special treatment from Se Heon, he kept wanting impossible things.
If only he’d look at me.
If only he’d rush in hungrily and kiss me.
If only he’d strip my clothes here and lay me on the desk……
“Wow, what’s wrong with me. I’m not even a teenager anymore, get a grip.”
Forcing his thoughts down, his face red, Yoon Shin quickly averted his gaze from Se Heon. He shook his head and stepped toward his own room across the hall.
That’s when it happened.
Knock, knock.
A knocking sound on the window. He turned around. Inside the office, Se Heon was holding his phone to his ear, flicking a long finger. When Yoon Shin pointed at himself, Se Heon moved his fingertip’s target from the door to indicate he should come in.
Even a single gesture from him made Yoon Shin’s heart flutter. Biting his lower lip, Yoon Shin hugged his materials to his chest and carefully entered Se Heon’s office. Se Heon seemed to have just finished his call; he tossed his phone onto the chair and sat on the edge of his desk. Then he tilted his head to the left and stared intently at Yoon Shin, who was still standing awkwardly.
“What are you doing, standing there?”
“Huh? You told me to come in, so I came in. Should I go back out?”
He frowned slightly as if asking what nonsense that was, then burst into a grin.
“I said what are you doing standing there like a waiting stone. Come here.”
His deep voice sounded good. Savoring the low frequency, Yoon Shin coughed belatedly and reached behind his back. He locked the door, lowered the window blinds, then ran hurriedly to Se Heon and threw himself into his arms with a thud. Without the slightest waver, Se Heon took all his weight. He snatched the documents away, placed them on the desk, and hugged Yoon Shin’s slender body tightly.
Wrapped in his embrace, Yoon Shin’s heart found peace. Yoon Shin fiddled with Se Heon’s waist and caught his breath. Holding him, he rubbed his soft cheek against Se Heon’s face, then started showing his teeth and nibbled on his shirt like a child with itchy gums. In response, Se Heon cupped Yoon Shin’s flushed face with his large hand and pressed short kisses to his lips several times.
“Why are you being childish again?”
“Who made me this way?”
“You blame me for everything?”
“I almost completely forgot that you like me, Senior.”
Holding Yoon Shin’s round head, Se Heon had been kissing his temple and hair here and there when he paused. He slowly pulled his head back and met Yoon Shin’s smooth eyes.
“What kind of bullshit is that?”
“You didn’t give me a single glance all day. I almost forgot we were dating.”
“Did you get a certificate in that, too? Keep doing what you do.”
Yoon Shin didn’t answer. He simply swept his gaze, entranced, over the sharp eyes set in smooth skin, the straight nose, the lips holding heat, and gave those lips a peck, a smooch.
“You could get one through an intensive course, so do better normally, that’s what I mean.”
“What are you dissatisfied with?”
“You neglect me too much. What’s the charm of an office romance? Making eye contact and smiling while working, sneaking out for coffee together, going on site visits together……”
“And having car sex?”
“I’d love that.”
“Are you going to ask to do it inside the firm too?”
“If you really want to……”
Having affirmed immediately, the embarrassed Yoon Shin moved his lips. But he awkwardly backtracked.
“I mean, among many things, we could do that too. But you won’t even look at me among people. Do you know how many times I glanced at you to make eye contact during the meeting earlier?”
“Of course I know.”
Yoon Shin flared up.
“You knew and still did that? That makes me angrier.”
“You know office romance is one of the few things where there’s only the deceiver, not the deceived?”
“We’re both men, who would misunderstand like that…… They’ll just think you ate something wrong, Senior.”
Stunned, Se Heon let out a hollow laugh. But he didn’t exercise his veto against Yoon Shin, who had lodged a complaint through official channels.
“So in short, you want me to look at you often. Duly noted. From now on, you’ll be fielding my questions at every meeting.”
“That’s not what I meant.”
“Not confident?”
As if returning the peck he’d received, he kissed Yoon Shin loudly like a child’s kiss, and held Yoon Shin’s body closer. He slowly drew his hand down from Yoon Shin’s long, slender nape, which he had been caressing, to his back. It went straight down like a highway and caressed his waist. Soon, as if determined to leave no gaps between them, Se Heon pressed their touching parts as close as possible. Inevitably, their chests, arms, legs, and lower bodies rubbed together.
Responding to this erotic contact, Yoon Shin also caressed Se Heon’s hard shoulder blades with both arms. Then, as his genitals touched Se Heon’s through the clothes, he let out a low moan.
“Hah…… I like it. Do more.”
Yoon Shin couldn’t control his increasingly rapid breathing at all. Because Se Heon was blatantly grinding their genitals and stimulating him, he felt he would soon get hard. Barely openi
