Hello. This is the author, Han Myeonghyeon.
From the first chapter to the last, I bow my head and offer my sincere thanks to all the readers who worked so hard reading each and every chapter until now.
Thank you truly for following along with such an inexperienced author. You have worked very hard.
Having uploaded the final chapter, I feel a mixture of emotions—both relieved and bittersweet.
Could I have written it more entertainingly? What was I so lazy about, taking hiatuses as if they were meals...? I feel deeply apologetic and regretful, yet it is also relieving to think that I have written down everything I first envisioned.
If there are those who found joy in reading this lacking story, I would be endlessly grateful and happy.
Anyway, ‘I Am Currently Being Mistaken for a Soccer Genius’ is probably the work I hold most dear. For slightly over a year, thanks to this friend, I have danced from happiness and torn at my hair in distress.
I think many memories have accumulated in so many ways.
I don’t think I’ll ever be able to forget the days I spent writing this.
I will study based on what I have learned and what I regret through this opportunity, and strive to return with a better story.
I don’t know when that will be, but I do want to feel that excitement of starting again from chapter one as soon as possible.
Though of course, I think I may need to rest a little too.
Anyway, I’ve rambled on for too long.
