“Yeah?”

Seoeun tilted her head, looking curious.

“You said you do research with my brother. Then why can’t you even beat me?”

She must have done it countless times, because she handled them skillfully with her tiny hands.

This was the problem.

If they had been ordinary playing cards, he might have gotten them all right.

Seoeun threw both hands up in celebration, then hugged her beaver doll and whispered.

“It was a little hard, but Theo wasn’t much either.”

Theo’s face turned red with humiliation.

He felt like he wouldn’t be satisfied unless he knocked this little girl down a peg.

“Now, we should play something else, right? Prime factorization, prime numbers. Anything’s fine!”

Even the prime-number game had rules unique to this household.

One person chose any four-digit number. Then they decided up or down, and the battle began.

“6213.”

“Down.”

“Good, let’s start.”

“6211.”

“6209.”

“6203.”

Seoeun pondered for a moment.

“Um… 6199.”

The game showed no sign of ending.

Only after a hundred turns did a mistake finally appear.
