My reborn daily life was quite fulfilling.
When I woke up in the morning, I'd immediately do some stretching exercises, then go straight into vocal practice.
On top of that, I made sure to practice various acting while watching TV.
Why study acting specifically?
It was precisely for proper RP.
What is RP, you ask? Simply put, it's the mask and concept used when active as a VTuber.
In other words, it could be called the setting that a VTuber character has.
Among VTubers, there were those who kept this RP well, and many who didn't.
For reference, in my case, I tended to lose interest quickly when seeing VTubers who didn't maintain their RP.
How is this different from just a regular streamer?
'Though I say this, I actually haven't watched many VTubers.'
As a salaryman pressed for time, I couldn't watch often, and even when I did, it was only Shorts or clips uploaded by clippers.
'I should have watched more diligently back then.'
Now, since the industry hasn't even properly formed yet, there were parts where I was at a loss about what to do.
First, the important things were vocalization and acting.
Plus, to be a streamer, I'd naturally need some flair...
'It's hard to get a feel for broadcasting skills without actually trying.'
It was difficult in many ways.
Whether a streamer or VTuber, thinking about content is always the most important part.
At least if I planned ahead from now, I wouldn't struggle in the future.
'I'll probably be good at games, right?'
The body I've possessed naturally has reflexes at another level, wouldn't you agree?
So I didn't worry about game-related parts.
'But if I do RP, what would be good?'
Thinking about VTuber concepts like this was quite enjoyable in many ways.
When I enter kindergarten next year, this kind of time would decrease, so it was good to prepare in advance.
'Hmm, come to think of it, as a VTuber I could also appear as a male.'
Since my male identity was still stronger, such thoughts came to mind, but I soon shook my head.
I was born with a good voice, so ruining such an advantage in that way would be foolish.
Like that, faithfully every day.
Around the time the routine that my previous self couldn't have lasted even a month became a habit.
"Our daughter, would you like to try a child actor audition?"
Mother suddenly said such a thing.
***
"Even if it's an open audition, really..."
Casting Director Kim Hyung-seok scratched his head and sighed.
It was an audition prepared to find the child actor needed for this CF, but he couldn't help thinking he'd made a mistake.
"Wouldn't it have been easier to just use a well-known child actor?"
At a staff member's words, Kim Hyung-seok shook his head.
"Would that be easy? The budget doesn't allow for it, no way."
"Why is the advertiser so stingy..."
The staff grumbled, but it couldn't be helped.
It wasn't a large corporation ad to begin with, but work from a small medium enterprise.
Kim Hyung-seok had been a casting director for quite a while, but this kind of case was truly rare.
In such cases, they'd just run ads on the internet; there were almost no cases of squeezing out non-existent money to film a CF.
Even the person sitting as the CF director was clearly a rookie without much experience, wasn't he?
'Looks like a parachute hire at first glance.'
No need to guess, unless someone actually had connections, they wouldn't give a CF director job to someone that young.
It was a composition of handling everything on the cheap.
Did it make sense that the highest-paid person was himself, the casting director?
It was fortunate that at least a proper studio was prepared.
Perhaps knowing that fact, the rookie CF director approached Kim Hyung-seok first to greet him.
"Haha, um, please take care of me. I haven't been in this field long, having come from advertising design."
"Ah, yes, first, from what I was told by the advertiser's side, they said to work hard together."
"Ah, haha."
At the man's awkward smile, Kim Hyung-seok clicked his tongue.
What was his name, was it Jo Min-tae?
Of course, Jo Min-tae couldn't know that Kim Hyung-seok was thinking such things, so he spoke amicably.
"Ah, CD-nim. Did you happen to check the profiles of the children participating in today's audition?"
"Profiles? Ah, yes. I did look at them but..."
In child actor auditions, the information that can be known from profile photos is limited.
Especially in an open audition like this one, that was even more the case.
"Can't see their teeth, this is troublesome. I'll have to check each one individually."
Especially when filming a 'food' commercial like this time, it was a critical point.
In children's auditions, many have missing teeth, and in such cases, it's hard for the commercial to look pretty, so they tended to avoid it.
"Ah, you've screened the age roughly between five and seven, right?"
"Yes. The age range the advertiser wants is around that too..."
Under five years old, communication is difficult, and over eight years old doesn't match the image.
Among them, Kim Hyung-seok singled out one eye-catching child and presented it.
"Did this child come to the audition venue?"
"Let's see... Doesn't seem like they've arrived yet?"
"Ah, really? I wish they would come."
At Jo Min-tae's disappointed reaction, Kim Hyung-seok glanced at the profile.
'Age is five... Face is, definitely good.'
The eye color was strangely unique.
It looked brown but with faded pigment, also briefly appearing red.
Looking at appearance alone, honestly he was surprised.
Enough to understand why Jo Min-tae brought up this child's profile.
"As you know, a child who's only pretty isn't good, you know that right?"
"Oh my, of course I know."
At Jo Min-tae speaking with easy familiarity, Kim Hyung-seok nodded.
Then, lowering the blinds, he watched the parents and children entering the audition venue.
They all had confident faces as if saying their own child was the prettiest.
'Doesn't seem like there are many with experience, so it'll actually be fierce.'
And just as Kim Hyung-seok thought, a kind of psychological warfare was unfolding inside the audition.
"Oh, Mi-yeon's mother is here too."
"I think we met at the last audition, seeing you again. Hyun-su, hello~"
The greetings were exchanged with smiles, but it was a conversation where each had planted a hidden dagger.
'Failed last time but not ashamed to come again.'
'You're the one who should just give up now. Your kid is just a "hello" level, you know?'
There were those looking for the open audition desk, and among them was a child who had received acting training from an agency.
"Our Ji-yeon is different from those kids. You know that, right?"
"Yes, Mom."
At her mother's words, Lee Ji-yeon puffed out her chest and looked around.
Unlike the other trembling children, Ji-yeon had quite a confident attitude.
'I already belong to a management agency.'
Of course, it's not a very big one yet.
But compared to kids who had never properly acted even once, she had received proper education.
'Our Ji-yeon has the prettiest face too.'
Ji-yeon's mother, Hong Jin-hee, looked around briefly then clicked her tongue.
What's with the children's makeup.
At that level, don't they not understand what a child actor is at all?
'At this level, we should be cast without issue.'
This is our Ji-yeon's first job.
Didn't Galaxy Entertainment, where her daughter belonged, say so?
With Ji-yeon's level of skill, she could easily pass a small audition like this.
It was merely an audition participated in for experience, and to build a small line on her career.
Clank.
While thinking such thoughts, the waiting room door opened.
Hong Jin-hee, who happened to be near that door, turned her gaze inadvertently.
"……!"
It was a cute girl with long black hair neatly let down.
What caught the eye was her strangely colored irises.
Along with her clear face and neat features, she was prettier than any child actor Hong Jin-hee had seen at the agency.
However, if only her appearance had stood out, Hong Jin-hee wouldn't have been this surprised.
'The atmosphere is... different?'
A strangely transcendent feeling.
Different from the aura actors have, yet somehow similar.
'Do you know who that is?'
'How would I know?'
Perhaps she wasn't the only one who felt that way, as the waiting room became even more noisy.
Amidst the buzzing atmosphere, Seo-yeon's mother, Su-ah, smiled brightly.
"Oh my, there are friends over there, Seo-yeon. But Mom knows our Seo-yeon is the prettiest, right?"
Walking in while holding the hand of who seemed to be her mother, it strangely didn't feel childlike.
Even to such words from her mother, a normal child would likely have given a cute response like "Really??" or "Aw, stop teasing~".
"Yes."
As if saying something obvious, it was extremely resolute.
Not simply that she was pretty in her mother's eyes, but a 'yes' containing the confidence that she was the prettiest in this audition venue.
Thanks to that, the mothers in the audition venue had no choice but to wonder again who that child was.
Perhaps a child who had already done acting work somewhere.
They exchanged brief opinions about whether they'd seen her at other auditions, but couldn't get any information.
'Hmm.'
Looking at such people, Seo-yeon crossed her arms and nodded her head.
'This too is experience.'
Actor audition.
Honestly, it was something I hadn't expected at all, so I was flustered at first.
But thinking about it again, this was a good opportunity.
'This kind of thing is acting too, right?'
Thinking about when I debut as a VTuber later, it seemed good to have this kind of experience too.
It would help with RP, and wouldn't talking to many people improve my conversation skills?
'I could also bring up stories like appearing in a CF when young or having child actor experience.'
So Seo-yeon didn't care about the result of this audition.
'Of course I'm the prettiest though.'
A TS'd appearance is invincible.
Ordinary girls can't dare to compare.
Apart from that, I know that auditions aren't won by appearance alone.
So, Seo-yeon calmly plopped down in an empty seat.
In that action, not even a trace of tension that a normal child would show could be felt.
'As expected, is she a child familiar with such auditions?'
'Or... maybe she really is a child from a management agency.'
No manager was visible, but in the case of child actors, mothers often took on that role.
So it wouldn't be strange at all even if Seo-yeon was a child actor belonging to a management agency or large entertainment company.
'Our Seo-yeon is so composed.'
While various mothers and some staff whispered among themselves, Seo-yeon's mother, Su-ah, just kept stroking Seo-yeon's round head.
She simply found her daughter the cutest.
