I forgot everything the moment Retake smiled with his eyes and said it was a shame.
Title: He’s good, he really is good (subject: Arena)

That judgment call to use Capture to stop Retake right before falling to his death + the aim to lock onto Retake’s position in one go while knocked back?
Not easy...
And the way he crossed the bridge at the start on a fall-death map was fucking cool too

- 【Best Comment】 Watching the Arena made me so tense I got a sphincter workout
└ Smooth bowel movement
- 【Best Comment】 [Author] No, whether other people can do it or not, it was still impressive in that situation, fuck, does your shitty gut hurt that much when someone gets praised for doing well?
- 【Best Comment】 If you’ve run even a few dungeons, there are Divine Knights everywhere who whiff Binding, so where did all those guys hide and why is this place suddenly overflowing with bastards who have a 100% Binding hit rate? Anyone who’s played Divine Knight knows Binding aim is hard, don’t they?ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
- It was insane, I got chills watching it
- For real, his judgment was crazy, even the commentators were screaming and losing itㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
└ Ah~~~ Player Honey Bread, if he falls here, the respawn timer is.. huh!!!!!!! Huuuuuh!!!!!!!!!! Uuuaagh, Player Honey Bread’s Binding!!!!!!!! He caught↗ Player Retake with Biiin-ding~!~!!@@~!/H-he’s dragging Player Retake straight in!!!!!! He’s pulling him in, he pulled him iiiiiin!!!!!!!!!!/This!1#@!!!! Like th↗is!!!!!!!! └ Ah shitㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋthe audio support is insane
└ ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋI’m rewatching the Arena clip that got posted and it’s exactly the sameㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ even the voice crack, fuuuuuckㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
└ It’s so damn loud even just reading the words, holy shit
I thought I’d turned the stream onㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
- If it were me, it would’ve been huh? tap... crunch.
- Why are they hyping HB up so much? They say if you’re famous people clap even when you take a shit, and this is exactly that
└ [Author] Yeah, figures a troll like this would get tangled up in here once in a while
└ Sure, barcode~ (as in, next barcodeㅎ)
└ If you get famous too, we’ll clap even when you take a shit
└ Take a shit then, I’ll clap for you
- If he’d died there, he would’ve been overtaken, so he must’ve been mentally wrecked, but seeing him respond calmly made me think this guy’s the real deal
└ From now on, whenever I want to stay calm, I’m going to buy honey bread
└ You still can’t do it, live in reality
└ Why is this bastard picking a fight, fuck
- In that situation, any Divine Knight user would try throwing Binding, impressive is a bit muchㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
└ Ah... an alt character...(nod)
└ People whose hands would shake so badly in an actual match they couldn’t land a single skill sure have a lot to say
- His reaction speed is insane
└ Nah, it didn’t even reach the level of judgment, it was probably just spinal reflex

Title: Everyone’s just fixated on the final impact
Author: [Jeoba] ABCDEPrettyRight
But for me, the most shocking part was Retake timing it on the wall map so he could bait the skill into hitting the wallㅋㅋㅋ

- Seriously, I can’t forget it
- It’s wild enough that he figured out the pattern, but to think he’d use it like that ;
- Seeing that he even calculates cooldowns, his memory must be amazing. Calculating enemy skill CDs while using map rules to form a strategy? Is that even possible
└ Even doing one of those is hard to imitate...
- If the wall map had been the final map, Retake might have won
└ Why would he win if it was last?
└ The wall map is where Retake racked up points, and the final map is 4 minutes instead of 3, so it’d be more advantageous for Retake to score
└ Oh thx thx
- He probably would’ve won if he hadn’t let himself get hit at the very beginning?
└ Agreed, I don’t know why he just stood there and took it
└ There’s a rumor he did it to check the damage
└ Yeah, Honey Bread seemed to notice partway through too
└ If that’s true, isn’t that kind of a stupid call;
└ His usual play is so compulsive it’s almost excessive, so I get it
- Seeing how he was flying around on the wall map and still couldn’t widen the point gap much, I guess Jogun really is weak
└ I think it’s even more so because it’s such a defensive class. Not many evasion skills either
└ Well, melee vs ranged means melee has the advantage...
└ What are you talking about? In melee vs ranged, ranged has the advantage
└ ? Isn’t it the opposite?
└ If you think of AOS, melee having the advantage is right...ㅋㅋㅋㅋ But in MMORPGs it’s usually the opposite, except assassin types
└ Everyone’s confused because they’ve only played unbalanced trash games, but originally, regardless of genre, it’s natural for melee to have overwhelmingly higher combat power. Ranged gets stable damage and guaranteed range in exchange for weaker 1v1 response ability. TheSc is an exception because it has counters so that’s less obvious, but the inside story is similar. Melee > ranged, overwhelming win
└ But then again, if it’s robe vs heavy armor, robe wins overwhelmingly, so I don’t think there’s a huge difference
└ It’s tank vs healer, so they’re basically even. What the comments above are saying only applies to DPS vs DPS
└ Yeah, this is right. Tanks and healers are basically even. It’s just a difference of who gets points first / who can sustain longer
└ Jogun only has Byeonbachul as a damage skill, so it looks even weaker

“I had it won.”
Those were the first words out of Gang Jegyeong’s mouth the moment he came down from the stage. It was absurd. Onstage, he’d spouted all kinds of cliché lines about how “it was a shame, but it was a close match and I lost by one point, so I’m satisfied with the result.”
“You said you were satisfied with the result?”
“I had it won……”
“Where did the mature Mr. Retake, who knew how to accept the result onstage, go? Why is Mr. Gang Jegyeong here whining because he lost a game?”
“Accepting the result and feeling bitter about it are separate things.”
He kept grumbling the whole way back to our seats as if he never got tired, muttering, “If I just hadn’t let my guard down and used an evasion skill, I would’ve won……” If it had been anyone else, I would have been annoyed and told them to shut up already, but what kind of voice did this bastard have that even his quiet complaints made me sit there and listen?
Thanks to that, by the time we returned to our seats and sat down, I had reached the point where no matter what Gang Jegyeong said, I let it pass as if I were hearing a pleasant song.
“Are you listening?”
“Yeah, I’m listening well.”
“Then tell me what I just said.”
“Well, that you have such a nice voice.”
In the end, he lightly pinched my arm. It didn’t hurt, but Gang Jegyeong pressured me so intensely to pay attention to him that I finally sighed and turned my head toward him.
“Even so, if I’d intentionally let you win,”
“Do you want us to be completely over?”
“If that’s how you’re going to be, then why are you doing this?”
“Try imagining, Go Yeong, that you got absurdly overtaken and lost with 15 seconds left.”
“I’d be fucking pissed.”
“Then why won’t you hear me out?”
“What does that have to do with this?”
I’d listen if his logic made any sense. Did he think I’d listen just because he insisted, out of nowhere, that I had to?
Of course, if the situation had been the exact opposite, like Gang Jegyeong said, and I’d been overtaken and lost while Gang Jegyeong won, I would have rambled all kinds of bullshit trying to pick a fight with him somehow. But right now, I was the one who’d won. Therefore, I had the right to grumble about what the hell was wrong with this bastard.
“Do you have no empathy? I’m asking you to coddle me with the broad generosity of a winner.”
At last, even empathy made an appearance. I had no idea why I, as the winner, had to coddle and coo over the loser with broad generosity, but since he wanted it so badly, I figured it might be better to do it once and shut him up.
“There, there, fine. Even though, with about 15 seconds or was it 14 seconds left before the end of the match, all you had to do was go get one point, whether it was worth 2 points or 5 points, but you just had to forget that your opponent was a Divine Knight with a Capture skill, and even though you’re a footslogging no-mobility bastard with barely any evasion skills, you got cocky and strolled along on your own two feet, then got yanked in by Binding and ended up with a Nongae ending, causing you to lose a match you’d basically already won, you still fought plenty well against the number one Divine Knight who beat the shit out of the number one Combat Medic, and you showed us an awesomely insane performance.”
“It’s a miracle you’ve managed to survive twenty-five years with a mouth like that.”
He had a talent for saying “you sure talk a lot of shit” in an impressively long-winded way.
“I coddled you, and you still complain.”
“No one would hear that and call it coddling.”
“By my standards, it is.”
“I see. So to the number one Divine Knight, who, in the second round of the official Arena tournament, whiffed skills against the number one Combat Medic, had his combos interrupted, failed to land Binding, tried to copy me exactly like the saying about a sparrow tearing its crotch trying to walk like a stork, got countered instead, had nothing he could do except look up at the sky wondering when I’d come down and when he’d finally be able to hit me, drooling while waiting for a chance until he got bled dry by DOTs, then, when he finally thought he caught me, his mental was already shattered so he couldn’t win the mind game and got hit head-on by a self-defense skill and died, spending three whole minutes getting toyed with and beaten to a pulp before desperately scraping out a win—this is what coddling means.”
Gang Jegyeong threw what I’d done right back at me and put me in his shoes. It pissed me off more than I expected.
