Title: Complete Summary of Currently Discovered Hidden Story Classes
Author: [Via] Mock Exam
First off, the common point for hidden stories is that, unlike the regular story, you “travel with your class NPC”
(※※※※ Divine Knights ALWAYS travel with their class NPC even in the regular story!!!!!!! ※※※※)
Jeop-a Military Doctor = accompanies Adam
Via Priest = accompanies Sortini
Jeop-a Warrior = accompanies Kaian
Via Assassin = accompanies Kirish
Apparently assassins were easy to tell apart because the way the story progresses itself is completely different, but I won’t write it here because it might be a spoiler
For some weird reason, Divine Knights go with Isel (Jeop) and Howa (Via) even in the regular story... Maybe this class doesn’t have a hidden story, or maybe the hidden story is going to investigate without an NPC?
At first I thought maybe it was a story only one person per class per server could see, but since Retake from Server 3 and another Jeop military doctor both got the hidden story, that’s not it. Seems like there’s some kind of condition
Other than that, no differences have been discovered so far. Looks like everyone’s still pushing the main quest
I’ll edit this if new info comes up! Also, anyone who got a hidden story, please record a video and upload it to YouTube

- 【Best Comment】 I got so happy because they said going with your class NPC meant it was a hidden story, but Divine Knights are the only exception lolololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
└ Sameㅠ
└ /mourning
└ Was that supposed to rhyme? Funny
- Thx for summary
- But it’s a problem that hidden stories show up without any notice. They didn’t even tell us what conditions you need to meet to see the hidden story...
└ People call it a hidden story, but like you said, since there wasn’t any separate notice about hidden stories, I think it’s closer to an Easter egg
└ 22222
└ 333
└ How is a main quest an Easter egg?; ; Isn’t that even weirder
- I’m a military doctor who saw the hidden story... but except for going with an NPC, I don’t think it’s really any different from the regular story... ㅠㅅㅠ
└ [Author] Do you have any guesses about what the hidden story condition might be?
└ None at all...;; I compared with my friend too, but there was nothing that seemed like a condition...

When I saw that it said Divine Knights traveling with their class NPC was part of the regular story, I wondered if maybe mine wasn’t a hidden story after all. But after reading the part that said, “For some weird reason, Divine Knights go with Howa even in the regular story,” I took back the thought I’d just had. In my story, “Howa” had suddenly received an urgent mission and crossed over to another continent, and because of that, I had accompanied “Abrea.” It was definitely a progression different from the regular story.
Thinking back on it now, earlier, when I followed the directive at the Atelie or Wisha base telling me to go find Howa, all the other users had gathered there and received their quests, but I had not. Then I followed the suddenly changed directive and went to Abrea, but aside from AFK users, I was the only Divine Knight user there to receive a quest. It had been so empty that I’d been leisurely taking screenshots, hadn’t I?
It was definitely a hidden story. I didn’t know what condition had been achieved to let me see this story, but there was no doubt that I was one of the lucky ones who got to see the hidden story.
I looked through other posts to see if there was any other information related to hidden stories. Most of them were just posts saying they were disappointed they’d gotten the regular story, or asking what the hidden story conditions were supposed to be. There were also a few posts piecing together bits of story that had been released and wildly speculating.
Then the title of the most recent post read, “Hidden Story Atmosphere ㄷㄷ.”
Title: Hidden Story Atmosphere ㄷㄷ
Author: [Jeop-a] Insect Collecting
I’m watching Retake’s stream, and suddenly the BGM got quieter and there’s only the sound of wind...
The quest is still telling him to investigate, but the NPC says even the flow of the air has changed and tells him to regroup
Since when did Dusk become a horror game? Did they make a horror special because summer’s here? My heat went away instantly...

- The regular story didn’t have anything like that, did it? What kind of story is the hidden story supposed to be for it to be like this
└ [Author] I still can’t even get a feel for it... I wish someone would hurry up and upload the full hidden story video...
- It’s fine. Seeing Retake scared made my heart warm right up
└ [Author] Are you crazy lol But true, cute~
Retake got scared?
This was Retake, who didn’t show fear even in the occasional horror game he played. When I thought I’d missed such a rare sight of his in real time, I grew anxious. Wondering if maybe he was still scared even now, I hurriedly moved my mouse to the sub-monitor to find the stream.
But before I could even bring up the stream window, I had no choice but to stop my hand. A few minutes had passed since I entered the market, and all of a sudden—out of nowhere—a story cutscene had begun to play.
[- Helkina: “Commander-in-Chief!”]
At the sudden call, my character turned around. It was a voice I’d never heard before, but from the name shown in the script, I could tell that the owner of that voice was Helkina, the leader on Eideas’s side whom I’d be investigating with this time.
[- Helkina: “You came at just the right time. Please stop Officer Abrea. At this rate, we’re either all going to die or get kicked out of the secret passage.”]
Helkina ran over urgently, grabbed my character, and dashed off to one side. The place I was dragged to was a mineral shop not far from where I had been standing. Around the shop, Eunsu tribe NPCs—spectators, if that was the right word—had gathered in a noisy crowd, their ears perked up.
Wondering what on earth was going on, I pushed through the crowd and walked toward the front of the shop. There, Abrea was locked in a battle of wills with some Jeop-a, with a pale violet glowing ore between them. He was so on guard that even his ivory wings were trembling, spreading wider little by little.
[- Helkina: “He suddenly took an interest in a rare mineral being sold at the shop, said he was going to investigate it, and went over—only to end up in a standoff with that Jeop-a military doctor over the mineral. Up to that point, it was fine. It’s not as if we didn’t expect to run into the Jeop-a, and there’s also a manual for what to do when we encounter them. But the problem is that military doctor.”]
When the line ended, the cutscene showed the Jeop-a military doctor. He was a pretty-looking Jeop-a with short black hair tinged with red, highly saturated violet eyes, and whites that were a faint vermilion. Overall, the Jeop-a military doctor NPC looked like the opposite of Abrea, and unlike Abrea, he was receiving the other’s furious glare with an utterly relaxed expression.
The sight was like an unsympathetic adult who refused to go easy just because the other party was a child, calmly watching a young child throw a tantrum.
[- Helkina: “I don’t know if you’ve heard, but that Jeop-a military doctor is none other than ‘Adam.’ He’s the person commanding all of the Jeop-a’s Eideas forces, and a complete lunatic. The fact that a big shot like him has moved means that, just as much as we asked you to cooperate with the investigation, the Jeop-a are serious about figuring out this phenomenon too.”]
[- Helkina: “Fortunately, he seems to remember the rules of the secret passage, so they’re only facing off like that, but one wrong move and fists are sure to start flying. You know what the temper of those Sina (*a term referring collectively to Jeop-a and Via) is like.”]
[- Helkina: “If Officer Abrea throws the first punch, the other side may attack under the pretext of self-defense. We have to avoid that absolute lunatic Adam getting offended and releasing a weaponized virus.”]
Helkina pressed a hand to her head, her face twisting sharply as if she had a headache. Since I’d often watched the Jeop-a military doctor story through Retake’s stream, I knew why Helkina was so troubled and shuddering like this. Adam was a madman who, if there was someone he didn’t like, would spread a lethal virus only he could cure and wipe out every living thing nearby.
Of course, he hadn’t been such an unreasonable person from the beginning. In the early story, like other military doctors, he was rigid, but he understood the preciousness of life and fervently researched the principles of the world. However, starting from a certain point in the story, he reached the truth of this world, and as a result, only emptiness and anger with nowhere to go remained, changing him into the image of a fallen sage.
[- Helkina: “I don’t know what he’s sensing from that mineral that’s making him so determined to investigate it, but this situation is by no means good. Until you arrived, Commander-in-Chief, I tried to stop him somehow, but he wouldn’t listen at all.”]
It wasn’t written in the script, but perhaps it was the voice actor’s ad-lib—I heard her mutter, that damn bastard. Funny. Abrea was a damn bastard, after all.
My character nodded at Helkina’s words, then slowly walked toward Abrea. Then, as if Abrea had noticed my character’s presence, his eyes turned toward me and he opened his mouth.
