Chapter 1: Born Beauty

The afterglow of the setting sun spilled into the room, illuminating every corner.

On the bed, two figures were intertwined—the man on top, the woman beneath.

The handsome man seemed somewhat impatient. As he kissed the lips of the woman beneath him, he reached out to undo her clothes.

Liu Xuan instantly had her breath stolen away. She pressed herself tightly against him.

The temperature in the room seemed to rise considerably. The man's breath grew scorching hot as he pried open her pearly teeth and drove straight into her mouth.

Her outer garments were quickly undone, revealing a pink dudou. Her proud, snow-white peaks were faintly visible beneath it; a light tug would send them spilling completely into view.

Yet the man stopped. With only one arm wrapped around her waist, he pressed her tightly against himself.

A soft whimper spilled from Liu Xuan's lips. The man's throat tightened as he restrained his impulse, panting.

Liu Xuan didn't understand why he had suddenly stopped. Blankly, she called out, "Husband."

The man's eyes were dark, his Adam's apple bobbing. His black eyes brimmed with lust, yet he didn't continue what they had been doing. Instead, he lightly caressed her delicate little face and said hoarsely, "Skin like condensed cream, a face of extreme beauty."

He took her hand again, gently rubbing it. "These hands, these ten slender jade fingers like white scallion segments—not a single callus. They don't look like a hunter's daughter at all."

Receiving the praise, Liu Xuan felt a little pleased with herself. "Everyone in the village says I was born beautiful."

Hearing this, the man smiled, lowered his eyes, and traced her figure with his gaze. "Plump hips, slender waist—especially those two mounds on your chest, round, pert, and full, straining to burst free. They're wrong. You weren't born a beauty—you were born a seductress."

"Only..."

The man raised his eyes to look at her, his gaze landing on her eyes. "These beautiful eyes, rippling with light, long lashes like feathered fans—yet hollow and spiritless, without the slightest hint of life."

"Does Husband despise me for being blind?"

Liu Xuan stretched out a lily-white arm to wrap around his neck, pulling him toward her with a soft hum. "It's too late for Husband to regret—I am already your wife!"

After saying this, she lifted her head and initiative kissed his lips. Her other hand slipped inside his clothes, caressing his firm abdominal muscles.

The man's breathing, which had steadied, instantly grew rough again. He kissed her back fiercely.

He kissed her fiercely and urgently, as if he couldn't wait to devour her whole.

It was like dry firewood meeting raging flames—on the verge of igniting in an instant.

But just then, the door suddenly began to bang violently.

The person knocking was clearly using great force. The door shook from the pounding—bang, bang, bang—fast and urgent.

A deliberately lowered voice came through, carrying a hint of anger: "Open the door!"

Liu Xuan was startled. She hurriedly reached out to push at the man on top of her. "Someone's here!"

"He's here for me."

The man covering her body looked at the door, the corners of his lips hooking up. He rose from atop her and explained, "I know this person. He's the steward of a wealthy family in town. This morning he bought a few animal pelts, and I miscalculated the silver. He's come looking for me now."

Hearing this, Liu Xuan quickly said, "Then hurry and go. Even though we're hunters, we still value integrity. If we overcharged, just return the extra silver to him."

The man made a sound of acknowledgment. He lowered his head to look at his open garments, but instead of tidying them, he opened them further and walked out.

The door creaked open and then shut.

The moment it shut, there was a bang, like the sound of something being punched.

Liu Xuan lay on the bed, turning her head to look back at the tightly shut door. Her beautiful eyes rippled with watery light, clear and spirited—where was there any trace of a blind person?

Impersonating her husband, thinking he could trick her with this method—how naive!

They were both beautiful men. If something really had happened, not only would she not be at a disadvantage, but she'd be an innocent victim. After all, who asked her to be a "blind" woman?

That's right—the man just now wasn't her husband Tie Dan at all, but a man who looked nine-tenths similar to Tie Dan.

Her Tie Dan had an aloof, otherworldly temperament, while the man just now had an inherent demonic charm and unruliness in his very bones.

Nearly identical appearances, yet completely different personalities—truly interesting.

Tie Dan—this name was truly crude and vulgar. She had deliberately chosen it with mischief in mind.

She couldn't be blamed for it. She had accidentally witnessed Tie Dan commit murder. Fortunately, she was accustomed to pretending to be blind to win sympathy from the people of Liu Family Village. Otherwise, she would have been beheaded on the spot.

She had transmigrated here and finally gotten to live days without illness or pain—she wasn't here to have her head chopped off!

Having safely escaped calamity, she had thought it was a rebirth after disaster, but unexpectedly, that very night Tie Dan collapsed in front of her door.

She was an extremely cautious person. Worried that he was deliberately testing her, she had no choice but to continue pretending to be blind and saved him.

Unexpectedly, when he woke up, he claimed to have lost his memory and refused to leave!!

Coincidentally, at that time, the village chief of Liu Family Village had run out of patience with her and was scheming to sell her for a good price. She simply decided to go all out and directly declared Tie Dan to be her husband, saying the two of them had already consummated their relationship.

After all, Tie Dan only claimed to have lost his memory; he hadn't hidden the fact that he knew martial arts. Moreover, one glance was enough to tell he was no ordinary man. Knowing he couldn't win, the village chief could only leave resentfully.

That night when Tie Dan returned from hunting, she climbed onto his bed.

She had thought that Tie Dan, with his aloof, otherworldly air and obviously extraordinary identity, would take considerable effort to seduce.

What happened afterward went smoothly from there.

Sounds of fighting came from outside. Judging by the noise, it should have been unarmed combat, every punch landing on flesh.

Naturally, Liu Xuan's hearing impairment was also fake. Not only was she not hard of hearing, but her five senses were extraordinary. If water was poured into identical cups, she could even distinguish the differences between them. Her hearing was especially abnormal—for two li in every direction, even the faintest rustle of wind or grass was heard with perfect clarity.

She listened with great interest, even having the leisure to turn over and lie prone on the bed, silently guessing whether the one who came in later would be Tie Dan or the fake "Silver Egg" impersonating Tie Dan.

After quite a long while, the fighting finally stopped, and deliberately lowered voices reached her ears.

Outside the door.

Li Ying glared at Li Heng and said in a lowered, angry voice, "She is your sister-in-law!"

Li Heng wiped the blood from the corner of his lips and smiled carelessly. "This younger brother merely helped Imperial Brother test whether she's truly blind or pretending to be blind. Furthermore, if she is this brother's sister-in-law, then what is Hu Yuan, the daughter of the prime minister? Imperial Brother hasn't forgotten who your fiancée is, has he?"

Li Ying didn't answer him. He only said in a low, angry voice, "I don't need you to test her! Just mind your own business!"

"This brother's business?"

Li Heng scoffed lightly. "Isn't this brother's business serving as Imperial Brother's body double? This brother doesn't mind being this Crown Prince forever, but Imperial Brother hasn't returned for so long that our dear mother is beside herself with anxiety. You abandoned everything to hole up in this mountain ravine as Tie Dan—surely it isn't because you're so infatuated with the woman inside that you've forgotten to return?"

Li Ying's expression changed slightly upon hearing this, but he quickly recovered and said coldly, "Naturally not. I have my own plans."

Hearing this, Li Heng immediately laughed softly. "Imperial Brother can fool others, but not me. Don't forget, our senses are shared. When Imperial Brother diligently tills the fields on her body every day, this younger brother has had the fortune of experiencing a fair share of that pleasure."

Bang!

A fist swung over without courtesy.

Li Heng was instantly knocked off balance, fresh blood immediately seeping from the corner of his lips again.

But he seemed not to notice. He only smiled, raised an eyebrow, and looked at Li Ying. "The matter of shared senses—isn't this something Imperial Brother has known from the very first day? Why get angry and ashamed only now?"

Hearing this, the anger on Li Ying's face deepened, and he swung another fist at him!

They're fighting again!

Liu Xuan lay on the bed, leisurely swaying her calves, her charming eyes silky.

Unknown identical twins, shared senses...

She seemed to have discovered an extraordinary secret.

Liu Xuan hooked her lips in a smile. Interesting.

Her eyes rippled with mischief as she lightly bit her lower lip and let out a bewitching sound: "Mmm... ah... Husband..."
