The Eldina straddling me is no longer the Eldina I knew.

She too was one of the capturable heroines of Ellando Symphonia, a character called the Little Sword Saint, a genius swordswoman.
Unlike Eldina, she was a popular character who always ranked in the top three whenever popularity polls were held.

With blank eyes, Esil alternated looking between me and Eldina, who was straddling me, standing there dumbly.

At that sight, I flinched in surprise.

Eldina launched a black flame orb at Esil.
Esil summoned a sword from thin air.
The Abl of Esil’s Act, Spacing Out, was Clear Mirror Still Water—an ability to summon a sword of the mind through the clarity achieved by spacing out.
In other words, what was currently in Esil’s hand was a Mind Sword.
And since a Mind Sword was a sword of the mind, it wouldn’t break as long as the mind remained unbroken; if it was held by Esil, a genius swordswoman, then truly……
Esil split the black flame orb apart with her sword.
The bisected black flame orb scattered its fragments all over the place…
“Hot, hot!”
Because some of those fragments splashed onto me as well, I ended up with minor burns.
Fortunately, they were small fragments; if they had been large ones, I would have been in real trouble.

“Then who else? Why were you doing that with Eldina?”
“It wasn’t something I was trying to do; I was nearly forced.”
“More importantly, outsiders are forbidden from entering here, and this is the women’s bath—how did you get in?”
Esil had a way of getting straight to the heart of the matter.
Depending on how I answered here, it felt like it would determine whether Esil’s sword would be pointed at my neck or not.
